GRAND LAKE, CO – Three University of the District of Columbia Women’s Lacrosse student-athletes were honored with inclusion in the 2015 Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association/Zag Sports Division II Academic Honor Roll.

GRAND LAKE, CO – The University of the District of Columbia Women’s Lacrosse team was one of 50 Division II schools and 262 schools across NCAA Divisions I, II and III to be named an Academic Honor Squad as announced by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association.

The Firebirds honored their one senior, Lana Oudat (No. 9).

WASHINGTON, DC – The University of the District of Columbia women’s lacrosse team was defeated, 18-3 vs. East Coast Conference foe St. Thomas Aquinas in its 2015 season finale on a beautiful Sunday evening at Georgetown Multi-Sport Field.

SHIRLEY, NY – The University of the District of Columbia women’s lacrosse team was defeated, 19-1 by East Coast Conference foe, Dowling on Sunday afternoon.

D.C. product Andreya Bryson was part of a solid second half defensive effort by UDC where the Firebirds caused 11 turnovers and allowed only three goals.

BRIDGEPORT, CT – The University of the District of Columbia women’s lacrosse team was defeated by the University of Bridgeport, 17-0 in East Coast Conference action Friday night.

WASHINGTON, DC – The University of the District of Columbia women’s lacrosse team managed two goals scored vs. the No. 9 ranked team in the nation, LIU Post, but the Firebirds were defeated 20-2 in East Coast Conference play on a rainy Friday afternoon at Woodrow Wilson HS.

Junior Amber Walls scored a hat trick. She leads the team with 13 goals this season.

WASHINGTON, DC - Yesterday, the East Coast Conference released its Women’s Lacrosse Preseason Poll. University of the District of Columbia, coming off its inaugural season in 2014, earned 10 points and was predicted to finish 9th in the poll, while Dowling and LIU Post tied for 1st place with 76 points each.
