UDC Men’s & Women’s Tennis Earn ITA All-Academic Team Honors; Eight Individual Firebirds Earn Scholar-Athlete Awards

SKILLMAN, NJ – Both the men’s and women’s University of the District of Columbia tennis teams earned the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team honors, and eight individual Firebird student-athletes from both teams earned ITA Scholar-Athlete awards as announced by the ITA late Thursday, July 16th.

BROOKVILLE, NY – The University of the District of Columbia men’s tennis 2014-15 season came to an abrupt end on Saturday, May 2nd in the First Round of the NCAA Division II East Regional Tournament as the No. 7 seeded Firebirds suffered a 5-0 defeat at the hands of No. 2 seed and tournament host NYIT.
