Media Information

The Sports Information Office serves as the primary contact for the media to obtain information about the athletic program at the University of the District of Columbia. Please contact Marlena Wright, Sports Information Director, marlena.wright@udc.edu, (202) 748-3290.  The Sports Information Office provides news releases, final game statistics, schedules, game notes, and other media information in support of the Athletic program. The Sports Information Office, in conjunction with the Office of Marketing and Communications, also maintains the University's Official Athletic Web Site. 

Media Credentials

Requests for credentials should be made to the Sports Information Office by email at least 48 hours prior to each game at marlena.wright@udc.edu. Credentials may be picked up prior to game day at the UDC Sports Information Office in the Sports Complex, or at the Player Comp/ Media table immediately before the start of a game. 

Media Parking

A limited number of parking passes are available. Due to limited parking on campus, a pass does not guarantee a parking space, but every effort will be made to accommodate the media.  Please contact the Sports Information Office for more information at (202) 748-3290 or by e-mail at marlena.wright@udc.edu.

Interview Policy

Coaches and athletes are available for interviews provided the appropriate policies and procedures are followed with regards to scheduling and running the interviews.  Please contact the Sports Information Office to schedule all interviews at least 24 hours in advance.  ALL INTERVIEWS MUST BE SCHEDULED THROUGH THE SPORTS INFORMATION OFFICE.  Student-athletes and/or coaches are not to be contacted directly by phone, email, or in person.  All interviews must be arranged in conjunction with the sports information office.
