61 UDC Student-Athletes Named to the ECC Commissoner's Honor Roll

West Babylon, N.Y. – The East Coast Conference announced on Thursday afternoon that over 1,400 student-athletes from the conference's 10 member schools and 14 associate member schools have been named to the league’s Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the 2021-2022 season. UDC boasts 61 Student-Athletes on the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Firebirds Boast Eleven ITA Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic Team Honors

WASHINGTON, DC- The University of the District of Columbia's men's and women's tennis teams earned the DII ITA All-Academic team honors. Eleven Student-Athletes also received ITA Scholar-Athlete honors, as was announced, Tuesday morning by the Association.

FLUSHING, N.Y. - The University of the District of Columbia’s women’s tennis team fell to Franklin Pierce 0-4 in round two of the NCAA East Regional Tournament, Saturday afternoon at the Queens College Tennis Center. The Firebirds finished the season with a 15-3 record, and the Ravens move on to the sweet sixteen with a 15-5 record.

WASHINGTON, DC- The University of the District of Columbia's Department of Athletics hosted its annual Student-Athlete Recognition Luncheon, Monday, May 2nd at noon in the E.B Henderson Sports Complex. The Ceremony awarded MVPs, Coaches Awards, Academic honor roll, and the most prestigious award of the day, the Reslyn Henley Memorial Award.
UDC Women's Tennis Secures #2 Seed in Upcoming NCAA East Regional Tournament

INDIANAPOLIS- The University of the District of Columbia's women's tennis team earned the #2 seed in this year's upcoming NCAA Division II East Regional Tournament. The Firebirds (14-2) will get a first-round by as they await the result of the #3 seeded Queens College (11-3) and the #6 seeded Franklin Pierce (11-2), and will face off against the winner on Saturday, May 6th at noon.
