UDC Women's Tennis Secures #2 Seed in Upcoming NCAA East Regional Tournament

INDIANAPOLIS- The University of the District of Columbia's women's tennis team earned the #2 seed in this year's upcoming NCAA Division II East Regional Tournament. The Firebirds (14-2) will get a first-round by as they await the result of the #3 seeded Queens College (11-3) and the #6 seeded Franklin Pierce (11-2), and will face off against the winner on Saturday, May 6th at noon. The tournament will be hosted at Queens College in N.Y.

This marks the Firebird's second-ever appearance in the NCAA Regional Tournament and the highest seed (the first being back in 2012 at the #3 seed). The match will be live streamed on the ECC Network.
