UDC Women's Tennis Ranked 2nd in NCAA East Region Poll; Remain in Top 25 ITA National Rankings

WASHINGTON, DC- The University of the District of Columbia's women's tennis team was ranked 2nd, in the first NCAA East Regional poll, as was announced Wednesday.

The Firebirds are currently 15-1 on the season with their only loss coming at the hands of Wilmington, who topped the polls at #1. The Firebirds were also ranked #23 in the Nation, in this week's ITA team rankings. 

UDC has been in the top 23, of the ITA's national poll rankings for several weeks with their highest ranking (#23) being this week. The Firebirds are also the only team in the East Region to be ranked in the top 25.
