UDC Women's Outdoor Track & Field, Men's and Women's Tennis Team's Earn ECC Academic Team of Excellence Awards

West Babylon, N.Y. - The East Coast Conference announced the 2020-21 recipients of its annual Academic Team of Excellence Awards on Thursday afternoon. The University of the District of Columbia's women's Outdoor track and Field, Men's and Women's Tennis teams recieved the honor in theior respective sports.

The ECC Academic Team of Excellence Award is presented to the team with the highest cumulative grade point average in their respective sport. Over 83 percent of the conference's teams (127 total) achieved a 3.0 team GPA or higher. UDC's women's tennis team put together the highest overall team GPA in the conference at 3.79.
