WASHINGTON, DC – The University of the District of Columbia Student-Athlete Advisory Committee raised $343.43 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation through its “Penny Wars” fundraiser in the month of April. Men’s Lacrosse was the winner of the team contest.

AUSTIN, TX – Senior Ben Taylor of the University of the District of Columbia men's lacrosse team was named Capital One Second Team Academic All-American for the Men's Division II At-Large Team selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

GREENWOOD, IN – Senior Benjamin Taylor of the University of the District of Columbia men’s lacrosse team was named Capital One First Team Academic All-District for the Men’s At-Large District 1 Team selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

Fraser earned his 2nd consecutive All-ECC Honorable Mention distinction.

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY – Sophomore standout Chase Fraser of the University of the District of Columbia men’s lacrosse team has earned Honorable Mention from the East Coast Conference as the league office announced its end of the season all-conference awards on Wednesday, April 29th. This marks the 2nd consecutive year Fraser has earned this distinction.

WASHINGTON, DC – The University of the District of Columbia men’s lacrosse team was defeated by East Coast Conference foe Roberts Wesleyan, 18-9 on a cold and rainy Senior Night, Saturday, April 25th at Georgetown Multi-Sport Field.

Junior Darien McPhail Millard scored a season-high four points on three goals and one assist.

WASHINGTON, DC – The Firebirds out-scored the Griffins, 6-1 in a frenetic final seven-and-a-half minutes of regulation, but they ultimately fell short by a final score of 15-12 in East Coast Conference play Friday evening at Woodrow Wilson HS.

Sophomore Quinton Pavan had a team-high three goals.

SHIRLEY, NY – The University of the District of Columbia men’s lacrosse team was defeated, 20-10 by East Coast Conference foe Dowling on Saturday afternoon at Golden Lions Field.

Junior Pat Payne stopped a season-best 62.1-percent of his shots faced and made 18 saves.

HILLBURN, NY – No more than two goals ever separated these two East Coast Conference foes, but the visiting University of the District of Columbia men’s lacrosse team scored six of the game’s final eight goals to push past Dominican College (NY), 13-11 for its 2nd win of the season Tuesday afternoon at Torne Valley Sports Complex.

WATERBURY, CT – Trailing by three at the end of the third quarter, the Firebirds were out-scored 8-3 in the final quarter as they fell to non-conference opponent, Post University, 18-10 on Sunday afternoon at LaMoy Field.

Sophomore attack Chase Fraser scored three goals. He is tied for the team lead with nine goals this season.

ARLINGTON, VA – Facing their 3rd straight top-15 nationally-ranked opponent in No. 12 Mercy College on Wednesday afternoon, the University of the District of Columbia men’s lacrosse team suffered a 16-7 defeat in East Coast Conference play at Long Bridge Park.

OLD WESTBURY, NY – The No. 3 nationally ranked NYIT Bears scored early and often as they defeated the University of the District of Columbia men’s lacrosse team, 27-6 on Saturday in East Coast Conference play at President’s Stadium.

BROOKVILLE, NY – Sophomore attack Chase Fraser erupted for a season-high four points on three goals and one assist, but the University of the District of Columbia men’s lacrosse team was defeated by the No. 5 ranked team in the nation, LIU Post in their East Coast Conference season opener on Tuesday afternoon at Bethpage Stadium.
