Chase Fraser Earns 2nd Consecutive All-East Coast Conference Honorable Mention

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY – Sophomore standout Chase Fraser of the University of the District of Columbia men's lacrosse team has earned Honorable Mention from the East Coast Conference as the league office announced its end of the season all-conference awards on Wednesday, April 29th. This marks the 2nd consecutive year Fraser has earned this distinction.

Fraser (Elementary Education – Aldergrove, BC/Blue Ridge HS) led UDC this season in nearly every offensive category, including 35 points, 27 goals, eight assists, 117 shots and 56 shots on goal. He scored at least one goal in 10 out of 11 games this season, including five games of three goals or more and a season-high five goals vs. Chestnut Hill on April 10th.

Fraser and the Firebirds finished the upstart UDC men's lacrosse program's second season of competition with a record of 2-9 (1-7 ECC). UDC faced four top-15 nationally-ranked opponents – all within conference – including two teams in the top-5.

Fraser is one of 13 players on head coach Scott Urick's roster who will return for the Firebird men's lacrosse program's 3rd season in 2016.
