UDC Women’s Cross Country Concludes Season at ECC Championship

Amherst, N.Y.- The University of the District of Columbia women's cross country team competed in the 2024 East Coast Conference (ECC) Championships on Saturday. 

Ayesha Jarrett led the Firebirds with a time of 22:03.4, finishing 38th overall. Samantha Morrison finished in 48th place with a time of 25:56.0. Yalix Lina crossed the line at 28:30.4, finishing 52nd. Tukey Francis and Janel Baxter rounded out UDC's top five runners, finishing 60th and 61st with times of 28:10.5 and 28:30.4, respectively.

UDC placed 8th overall with a score of 211 points.
