Three Goals for Franklin; Firebirds Lose 17-5 to Post

WATERBURY, CONN – The University of the District of Columbia Women's Lacrosse team was defeated 17-5 against Post University on Wednesday afternoon.

However, with 10 minutes remaining on the clock in the first half, the Eagles were able to score nine goals in a row to give the home side an 11-3 advantage going into the second half.

The second half saw Franklin score again along with freshman Da'zah Regusters who grabbed another goal to get back-to-back goals in both games this season.

The game saw Goalie, Jada Foy save 12 shots in her efforts to stop the Eagles.

The Firebirds will return to action at home against ECC opponents, Bridgeport on Monday, March 9th at 1PM.
