
Bahdanovich and Estevez Hernandez Picks Up Lone Win in Loss to Jefferson
WASHINGTON, DC- The University of the District of Columbia's men's tennis team fell to Jefferson, 7-0 Wednesday evening at the UDC Courts. The Firebirds fell to 3-10, on the season while the Rams improved their win streak to eight, with a 10-3 overall record.
UDC's lone win came at the No.2 doubles match where Maksim Bahdanovich and Juan Estevez Hernandez defeated their opponents 6-4. The Rams went on to secure the doubles point with wins at No.1 and 3.
Bahdanovich put up a tough three-set battle at No. 4 but eventually fell to Enrique Soto Ballester 6-0, 4-6, 1-0(3). Louis Mangeon also put a good fight at No.1 but fell to Hubert Thierault 6-4, 7-5.
Next up UDC (3-10, 1-2 ECC) will head to N.Y. to face off against Daemen College, Friday night at 8:30 pm.
