Ignacio Lopez Named Most Outstanding Player of the ECC Tournament

Rockville Centre, NY - Sophomore midfielder Ignacio Lopez, was named the ECC Tournament Most Outstanding Player, after leading the UDC men's soccer team to it's first Championship title.

Lopez scored in all three games of the postseason while dishing out two assists. He assisted the game-winning goal in the quarterfinal against Roberts Wesleyan and then went on to score the game winner against Mercy in the semifinal. He becomes the first Firebird to recieve the honor.
