UDC Men’s Soccer Plays to 0-0 Draw with East Stroudsburg University

Washington, D.C. - The University of the District of Columbia men's soccer team battled East Stroudsburg University to a 0-0 draw in a hard-fought non Conference match up on Wednesday at UDC Turf Field. Both teams created numerous chances, but stellar goalkeeping and defense kept the match scoreless after 90 minutes.

Despite a number of scoring opportunities from both sides, neither team was able to break the deadlock. UDC goalkeeper Giovanni Llamas had an outstanding performance, making 9 saves to keep East Stroudsburg at bay. The Firebirds also managed to register 4 shots on goal, but East Stroudsburg's goalkeeper, Kevin Kretschman, matched the effort with 4 saves of his own.
