Firebirds Voted to Place 6th in ECC Pre-season Poll
WEST BABYLON, N.Y. – On Thursday morning the ECC (East Coast Conference) announced the 2023 Men's Soccer Preseason Poll, as was voted on by the league's nine head coaches. The Firebirds were tabbed to finish sixth.
The Firebirds ended the season last year with a 7-7-2 overall record and a 2-5-1 conference record. They return two All-Conference players (Axel Gamez & Santiago Gordillo Martinez) and welcome 14 new players into the mix.
UDC will host Shepherd University in their season opener next Thursday, August 31st at 1:00pm.
