WASHINGTON, DC- The University of the District of Columbia's men's soccer team heads to N.Y to take on Molloy University in their second conference match up of the season.

Scouting UDC
- The Firebirds are 4-3-1 on the season and 0-1 in ECC play after coming off a 1-1 week where they defeated Gannon 1-0 and fell to Roberts Wesleyan
- Santiago Gordillo Martinez is the Firebirds leading scorer, with three goals on the season.
- Zouhir Warid, who has three assist and a goal on the season, was out due to injury but will make his return back to the field this week.
- Goalkeeper, Javier Abadia Torres had 13 saves on the week with a game high 10 saves in the shutout win against Gannon. Torres leads the conference in save percentage
- UDC's Defense hasn't conceded more than two goals in a game on the season and have forced three shutouts.
Scouting Molloy
- Molloy is 2-2-4 on the season and 1-0-1 in conference play. The Lions went 0-1-1 last week falling to Adelphi 1-2 during the week before tying with STAC 1-1 on the weekend.
- Fabiano and Dobson leads the Molloy offense with three goals each on the season.
- Orlando Zambrano was voted ECC preseason defensive player f the year
History
The last time these two teams met was at the ECC semifinals back in November 2021. After a double OT to the score of 0-0, the Lions came away with the victory in penalty shots and then went on to win the ECC Championships.
In the last ten Match Ups against the Lions, the Firebirds are 5-3-2.
