ELKINS, W.VA.- the University of the District of Columbia's men's lacrosse team fell to Davis & Elkins 7-11, Wednesday afternoon on the road.
Julian Schemm and Dylan Donaldson both posted four points on three goals and an assist. Shelton Tessier had a game-high six caused turnovers and picked up a team-high four ground balls.
Both teams traded goals, tying the score at 2 heading into the second quarter. A small scoring surge by the Senators saw the Firebirds down by 2 at the half.
Both teams were held to just one goal in the third quarter, but UDC was outscored 4-2 in the final quarter , falling 7-11 to Davis & Elkins.
Up next, UDC (0-4) will host Holy Family next Friday in their home opener. Tip-off is set for 4:00pm.
