2014: Played in all 11 games and started 10 of them in the midfield for UDC...scored one goal and tallied 2 assists on the year for a total of 3 points...finished with 18 ground balls and caused 4 turnovers...scored his only goal of the season against Hood (3/19).
High School: Matthew attended high school in Nantucket, MA…he transferred from Dean College in Franklin, MA and attended Monroe Community College at Rochester NY before that…he has played lacrosse for three years before coming to UDC and also played football in high school…he was named Most Improved player and Unsung Hero while playing in high school.
Personal: Son of Victor and Carmen Marrett...has two brothers, Victor & Marvin...he is a Business Management major...career goal is to be a sports agent, coach and business owner…hobbies include sports and cooking...other sports he enjoys watching and playing are football, basketball and weight lifting...favorite food is BBQ and Soul Food…favorite movie is The Avengers...favorite music artist is Usher...chose UDC because of it’s environment, respectful people and teammates...his dream as a college athlete is to improve...his greatest athletic influences are Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan…he picked the number 24 because of Kobe Bryant.
