WASHINGTON, DC- the University of the District of Columbia's men's basketball team fell to Daemen University 79-71, Sunday afternoon at the E.B Henderson Sports Complex. The Firebirds slip to 6-5 in conference play while the Wildcats moved to 7-4.
Hartnel Haye posted a double-double off 15 points and 12 rebounds. Eric Morgan Jr scored a team high 18 points shooting 50% from the field and was the Firebirds only other double-digit scorer. Tevin Curtis dished out a game-high seven assists.
The Firebirds shot at 45% from the field and the Wildcats shot at 42.2%. Daemen had the edge in rebounds (39-37) and the advantage in points off of turnovers (20-13).
