NEW ORLEANS – University of the District of Columbia Women’s Cross Country & Track & Field earned United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team honors, and recent graduate Jerily Benjamin was named a Division II All-Academic Individual.

NEW ORLEANS – The University of the District of Columbia Women’s Outdoor Track & Field team finished the 2016 season with a No. 7 ranking in the final United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) East Region poll. Several individual Firebirds earned All-Region accolades in their respective events as well.
UDC's Simone Grant Selected to Attend NCAA Career in Sports Forum

INDIANAPOLIS – For the seventh year, the NCAA is inviting more than 200 current student-athletes and NCAA postgraduate scholarship recipients, with an interest in working within the sports industry, to the Career in Sports Forum in Indianapolis. A committee from within the NCAA membership selected three student-athletes from the East Coast Conference to attend, including the University of the District of Columbia's Simone Grant.

HAMPTON, VA - Nearing the midpoint of its Outdoor Season, the University of the District of Columbia women’s outdoor track & field team headed south this past weekend, looking for warmer temperatures to compete at the Hampton Relays. Though the weather didn't cooperate, there were strong performances from the Firebirds in several events.
