Firebirds Compete at Goucher College in Season Opener

BALTIMORE, MD- The University of the District of Columbia's women's cross country team opened their season Friday afternoon at Goucher College.

Freshman Rainn Sheppard crossed the finish line first for the Firebirds, clocking in at 22:24.26. She was followed by Ayesha Jarrett who crossed the line in 23:29.37.

Tukey Francis and Isatu Bah clocked in at 24:20.57 and 24:42.38.

UDC will head back to Baltimore next Friday to compete at Hood College.
