Polina Zelentsova Ranked No. 2 in Final ITA East Region Singles Rankings

WASHINGTON, DC – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released its final Division II East Region rankings, and University of the District of Columbia standout Polina Zelentsova has earned a prestigious No. 2 singles ranking, solidifying her place among the elite in the region.

Zelentsova, a sophomore, delivered an outstanding season for the Firebirds, consistently dominating at the top of the lineup and racking up wins against many of the region's best. She was a First Team All-Conference selection after going undefeated in conference play in the Fall. She completed the 2024-25 season with a 13-2 record in dual play.
