
UDC Men's Tennis Blanks Daemen University to Sweep Season Series
Washington, DC- The University of the District of Columbia Men's Tennis team delivered a commanding performance on the court Saturday evening, defeating Daemen University in a 7-0 sweep. The Firebirds were dominant from start to finish, securing the doubles point with strong showings across all three courts and following up with a clean sweep in singles play.
In doubles action Sebastiano Palma and Elouan Queguiner set the tone with a solid 6-3 win over Chitanand and Garcia Angarita. The the pair of Louis Mangeon and Louka Queguiner clinched the doubles point for UDC with a solid 6-2 victory over Lumanog and Alvarez on court one. The team of Oskar Karos and Fabio Vatteroni rounded out the sweep with a convincing 6-2 win on court three.
The Firebirds carried their momentum into singles, where they dominated play with five straight-set wins and one default. Louis Mangeon went 6-1, 6-1 against Juan Alvarez on court one. Louka Queguiner dispatched Lucas Garcia Angarita 6-3, 6-1 on court two. Oskar Karos faced a tougher test but prevailed in a third-set super tiebreak, 6-1, 2-6, 1-0(5), over Rohan Chitanand on court three.
Elouan Queguiner and Sebastiano Palma both recorded emphatic 6-0, 6-0 wins over their respective opponents, Jayven Williamson and Vondin Henderson, on courts four and five. On court six, Ghali Ouajahat Filali was awarded a win by default, finalizing the 7-0 sweep.

UDC is back in action on April 11th wih a conference match up against St Thomas Aquinas at home.
