UDC Men's Tennis Secures Dominant 7-0 Victory Over West Chester University

Washington, D.C. –  The University of the District of Columbia men's tennis team delivered a commanding performance against West Chester University (WCU), securing a flawless 7-0 victory to remain undefeated at home.

In doubles action, the duo of Louis Mangeon and Louka Queguiner battled to a 6-4 victory over WCU's Burns and Weber. Similarly, Sebastiano Palma and Elouan Queguiner outlasted Urrutia and De Vasconcellos with an identical 6-4 scoreline. The final doubles pairing of Oskar Karos and Vatteroni made quick work of their opponents, defeating Henke and Robertson 6-2, sealing the doubles point for UDC.

The Firebirds carried their momentum into the singles matches, where they dominated across the board. Louis Mangeon led the charge with a 6-1, 7-5 victory over Lucas Henke to clinch the match, while Louka Queguiner cruised past Andres Urrutia, 6-2, 6-1. Elouan Queguiner continued the trend, dispatching Brady Burns in straight sets, 6-0, 6-3. In a thrilling match, Oskar Karos battled through a three-set tiebreak to edge out Felix Weber 6-2, 5-7, 1-0(11). Sebastiano Palma followed suit with a convincing 6-2, 6-4 win over Mateus De Vasconcellos. Rounding out the sweep, Ghali Ouajahat Filali dominated his match against Sam Robertson, securing a flawless 6-0, 6-0 victory.
