
Firebirds Secure 5-2 Victory Over Harford CC
Washington, D.C. – The University of the District of Columbia men's tennis team earned a hard-fought 5-2 win over Harford Community College, improving their season record to 2-2. Despite dropping two singles matches and a tightly contested No. 1 doubles match, the Firebirds showed resilience, clinching the win with strong performances across the board.

Doubles Play:
UDC secured the crucial doubles point, winning two of the three matches:- Ouajahat Filali/Vatteroni dominated Rotundo/Williams (6-1) at No. 3.
- Palma/E. Queguiner edged out Zimpel/Fox (7-5) at No. 2 to secure the doubles point.
- Mangeon/L. Queguiner fell in a tiebreaker at No. 1 to Duval/Llerena Perez (7-6(2)).

Singles Play:
UDC continued its momentum in singles, winning four of the six matches:- Elouan Queguiner controlled his match at No. 3, defeating Lucas Fox (6-3, 6-1).
- Ghali Ouajahat Filali and Oskar Karos earned straight-set victories at No. 4 and No. 5, respectively.
- Filippo Vatteroni clinched the match for UDC with a three-set battle at No. 6, taking down Martin Dominguez Cerdeira (6-2, 2-6, 6-4).
- Sebastiano Palma retired in the second set of his match, and Louka Queguiner fell in straight sets at No. 1.
