UDC Men's Tennis Impress at ITA East Regional Tournament
FLUSHING, N.Y.- The University of the District of Columbia men's tennis team saw their ITA East Regional Tournament campaign come to a close on Day 3. The duo of Louis Mangeon and Louka Queguiner had an impressive run making it all the way to the semifinals before narrowly being defeated by Viktor Hockl and Milan Jovanovic from Adelphi. Despite a valiant effort, the UDC duo lost the tightly contested match 8-6.
Notable performances:
- The freshmen pair of Sebastiano Palma and Elouan Queguiner battled their way to the Quarterfinals in doubles play. In the Round of 16 they defeated last year's doubles champions Seth Newman and Henry Ronnberg of St Thoms Aquinas College, to the score of 8-6.
- Mangeon and Queguiner went all the way to the semifinals.
- Mangeon, Louka Queguiner and Palma all made it to the Round of 16 in singles play.
