
Mangeon Scores Lone Point in UDC’s Fall Finale Loss Against Jefferson
PHILADELPHIA, PA- The University of the District of Columbia's men's tennis team wrapped up their Fall season with a 1-6 loss against Regional foe Jefferson University. The Firebirds fall to 1-2 on the season and the Rams remain undefeated at 3-0.
The Rams took the one point lead going into the singles rounds after sweeping the doubles at No. 1 and 2.
Jefferson went on to win the match with wins at No. 2-5. UDC's lone point of the evening came from Louis Mangeon at the No. 1 position. Mangeon fought through a three set match to eventually claim the victory over his opponent 7-5, 2-6, 1-0(7).
UDC (1-2, 0-0 ECC) will return in the Spring to compete for a spot in the ECC Championships.
