Season: 2nd
2013: Played in 14 games starting in 13…3rd on the team in scoring with 11 points on five goals and one assist… had the game-winning goal in final seconds of 1-0 victory over Nyack (9/14)… scored three goals, including the game winner, in 5-2 triumph over Molloy (10/2)…finished 2-for-2 on penalty kicks on the season and took 21 shots overall.
High School: Nenad attended Barnsely College…he played soccer as a center-midfielder and led his team to a 2nd place finish in the North of England College’s league….he also has a level-three diploma in Sport Development, Coaching and Fitness.
Personal: Son of George & Nada Smiljanic...has one older sister, Ivana...Health Education major with goals to try and play soccer at the highest level, graduate and go on to have a successful life...hobbies include playing soccer, tennis, squash, socializing and hanging out with friends...other sports he enjoys watching and playing are squash and tennis...favorite athlete is Wayne Rooney...favorite movie is Gangster Squad...favorite television show is Towie…favorite music type is R&B...he enjoys eating Chinese food… chose UDC because he likes the campus setup and thinks he will be able to progress as a player and a student...was also recruited by Marshall…his greatest athletic experience was playing for Manchester United and traveling around the world...dream as a college athlete is to reach the NCAA championships...his greatest athletic influence is his father and godfather…and most impressive person he's ever met is Cristiano Ronaldo.
