UDC Men's Basketball Clinches ECC Play-Off Spot on Senior Night

WASHINGTON, DC- the University of the District of Columbia's men's basketball team defeated Queens College 81-72, to secure their spot in this year's ECC Play-offs.
Eric Morgan Jr led the Firebirds with 19 points, Tevin Curtis had 17, Elijah Crawford (12), Vernon Simmons (11) and Hartnel Haye (10).
Queens shot 40% from the floor while the Firebirds shot 39.4%. The Knights also had the advantage in rebounds (50-43).
Micah Campbell and Toren Portee were celebrated prior to the match up for senior night.
Next Up, UDC (9-15, 7-8 ECC) will head to Molloy this Saturday to close out the regular season.
