WEST BABYLON, N.Y.- Junior and Sophomore guards Latavia Jackson and Detsiny Ryles were named to the ECC First-Team, as was announced by the conference office Thursday.

UDC had their first winning season since the 2015-16 season, finishing with a 15-13 overall record.

The Firebirds improved to 7-4 in conference play to take sole possession of fourth place in the standings. The Saints fell to 6-5, falling to fifth place.

Benjamin knocked down a career high 20 points off flawless shooting, going 7-7 from the field and 4-4 from behind the arc.

Ryles cashed in 16 points, nine rebounds, five assists and three steals.

This marks the Firebirds first win over Daemen since the 2016-17 season. The Firebirds wrap up the first half of conference play with a 5-3 record and is currently in a three way tie with Daemen and D’Youville for third place.
