Women’s Cross Country to Compete in East Coast Conference Championship Meet Sunday
BROOKVILLE, NY – For the third consecutive year since becoming a member of the conference, the University of the District of Columbia women's cross country team will compete in the East Coast Conference Championship meet hosted by LIU Post on Sunday, October 27th.
"It's always a privilege to have an opportunity to compete at a conference championship, so we're definitely excited and ready for tomorrow's meet," head coach Alton McKenzie said.
According to McKenzie, the Firebirds will look to improve on their 8th place (next to last) finish last season by seeking individual personal bests.
"The goal is for everyone to get as close as they can to their personal bests on this course, and we'll see where that leaves us, team-wise."
