"This was a great team performance for our women's team, with the majority of the team running personal best times," head coach Alton McKenzie said following the race. "They all competed very aggressively in a very large field. I was very pleased with how close we were as a group, as this will ensure we run together as a unit. I expect they will perform well when we return to LIU Post for the ECC Championships."
