UDC Places 5th In Hood Invitational

Frederick, MD: October 21, 2006-- The University of the District of Columbia Lady Firebirds Cross-Country Team came in 5th place, today, during the Hood College Invitational 5k Cross-Country Run in Frederick, Maryland. UDC's Shakira Watford finished the course in 16th place with a time of 23:33 minutes. The next closest finisher for the Lady Firebirds was Maurissa Williams, who came in 23rd place with a time of 24:39 minutes.
