Polina Zelenstova Named ITA East Region Rookie of the Year

WASHINGTON, DC- UDC Women's tennis rising sophomore, Polina Zelentsova was named this year's ITA East Region Rookie of the Year as was announced by the organization earlier today.

Zelenstova ended the year with a 15-6 overall record in DII singles play, playing both at the No.2 and 1 positions and went 11-9 in doubles play. She was named the ECC Rookie of the Year last Fall after advancing to the Round of 16 at the ITA Division II Women's East Regional Singles Championship in her first collegiate season.
