UDC Women’s Tennis Opens the Spring Season with a Win Over Harford CC

WASHINGTON, D.C.- The University of the District of Columbia's women's tennis team defeated Harford CC 7-0, in their spring season opener to continue their win streak. The Firebirds, who won the ECC Championships in the Fall, have an automatic bid into the NCAA tournament and will look to continue to improve on their record.

UDC swept the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and 2. Playing a man down, Harford conceded the No.6 singles point, and the Firebirds went on to win at No.3, 2, 1, 4, and 5.

UDC (12-0, 7-0 ECC) will head to Syracuse, N.Y. on the 26th to face off against Le Moyne College. Tip-off is set for 1:00 pm.
