MILLERSVILLE, PA- The University of the District of Columbia's women's tennis team picked up another road win with a 7-0 victory over Millersville, to remain undefeated on the season. The Firebirds are now 6-0 on the season and 3-0 in the conference.

UDC picked up the doubles point with wins at No.1 and 3. They then went on to win all six of the singles points. Claudia Bahamon played her first singles match since the ITA East Regional Championships and defeated her opponent 6-0, 6-1 at No.6

Sofia Bellucco and Valentina Brienza had a busy day at No.3 and No.5 playing 3 games each in their single matches. Bellucco defeated her opponent 6-0, 4-6, 6-3 and Brienza defeated her opponent 6-3, 3-6, 10-8.

Next up the Firebirds will host Bloomsburg in a doubleheader on Friday, October 15 at the UDC Tennis Courts. The first match is slated to go off at 1:00 PM.
