Trinity Defeats UDC, 8-1

Washington, DC: March 24, 2010-- The Trinity University Tigers Tennis Team defeated the University of the District of Columbia Firebird Women, 8-1, this afternoon at Trinity. Freshman Andrea Thomas (Capital Heights, MD/Central) captured the only win for the Firebirds in today's match, defeating Lakia Merriweather 4-6. 6-4, 10-3, in singles play.
