VSU Defeats UDC Tennis Teams

Petersburg, VA: March 29, 2009—The Virginia State University Trojans Men’s & Women’s Tennis Teams defeated the University of the District of Columbia Firebirds Men’s & Women’s Tennis Teams today in Petersburg, Virginia.  The Women Trojans took their match 5 games to 4 from the Firebirds, while the Trojan Men defeated the UDC Men twice, the first 8-1 and 9-0 in the last.

UDC’s Women fell to 1-4 for the season, while the Men dropped to 0-4. The Firebirds return to the courts on Wednesday, April 1, against Loyola College in Baltimore at 3 p.m.
