Lauryn Lopez Earns Second ECC Rookie of the Week Honors; Iyanna Jackson Makes weekly Honor Roll

WEST BABYLON, N.Y.- Lauryn Lopez was named the ECC Rookie of the Week for the second time this season for her performance over the weekend against the University of Bridgeport. Iyanna Jackson from the women's track team also made the weekly honor roll.

Lopez led the Firebirds with six points on five goals and an assist. She also had a game-high 11 groundballs, seven draw controls, and two caused turnovers. 

Jackson won the 100m and the 200m at the Gallaudet Invite over the weekend. She ran a season-best time of 12.41s in the 100m finals and 25.78s in the 200m.
