Multiple Firebirds Post PR's at the Salisbury XC Invitational

SALISBURY, MD- The University of the District of Columbia's women's cross country team competed in a 6k at the Salisbury XC Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

All seven Firebirds walked away with personal records (PR's) including Ayesha Jarrett, Chacoia Wilkes and Isatu Bah. 

Jarrett was the first to cross the finish line for UDC, placing 16th out of a field of 103 other runners with a personal best time of 24:42.20. Next up was Wilkes with a PR of 26:02.20 and freshman Rainn Sheppard with a time of 26:06.70. Bah ran a PR of 26:36.30 to place 46th. 

Next up, UDC will compete at the ECC Cross Country Championships on October 21st to wrap up the season.
