Firebird Women on the Road against the King College Tornadoes Thursday

The UDC Firebirds Women's Basketball Team (12-7)  will be on the road Thursday, February 3, in a re-match against the King College Tornadoes (6-14) in Bristol, Tennessee. Game time is 6p.m.

The Firebirds defeated the Tornadoes, 66-62, on January 8, in the first game of the UDC New Year's Classic, and look to sweep the series on Thursday. In their last outing, UDC lost a close game, 62-69, to the Fayetteville State University Broncos on January 24. King defeated Young Harris 71-55 in their last game.

UDC is led by senior forward/center Lillian McGill (Criminal Justice-Sumter, SC), who is ranked #4 in rebounds in the country among NCAA Division II schools, averaging 12.6 rebounds per game.
