Dixon Earns Second- Team All-Conference Honors; UDC Finishes Fifth at the ECC Cross Country Championships

ROCHESTER, N.Y.- Kamille Dixon earned Second-Team All-Conference honors for her performance at the ECC Cross Country Championships, Saturday morning at Roberts Wesleyan College. She became the first student-athlete of the UDC women's cross-country team to receive this honor. UDC also placed fifth out of seven schools.

Dixon finished 12th out of a field of 71 other runners clocking in at 19:27.5. Teammate Ayesha Jarrett was the second-place finisher for UDC with a time of 21:40.6 to place 33rd. Fanta Sanogo ran a season-best time of 24:17.5 and was followed by Chacoia Wilkes with a time of 25:29.3.

Next up, the Firebirds will head to the East Coast Regional Championships on Saturday, November 6.
