Firebirds Compete in ECC Championships to bring Cross Country Season to a Close.
Old Westbury, N.Y.- The University of the District of Columbia's women's Cross-Country team finished out their season with performances at the ECC Championship meet on October 26that New York Tech.
First finisher for the Firebirds was Cierra Roberts who ran a time of 22:11.41 to place 27thout of 77 runners. Next up was Shannell Hibbert with a time of 28:49.54 and she was followed soon after by teammates Shanieka Bowra and Aisha Dozier running 29:18.66 and 29:34.68.
This meet marked the end of the Firebirds Cross Country season. Next they gear up for the Indoor season with their first meet on December 7th.
