Firebirds Compete at Eastern Shore Cross Country Invitational
Eastern Shore, MD- The University of the District of Columbia women's cross-country team competed at the Eastern Cross County Invitational on Saturday September 21st.
The Firebirds had six runners compete in the 5k race on Saturday. Senior Shannell Hibbert led the pack with a time of 29:58.10. Other finishers for UDC included Shanieka Bowra, Aisha Dozier, Shanise Rose, Kendra Williams and Shakiethia Nicholson.
The Firebirds are off next week but will head back into action on October 5thto compete in the Salisbury University Don Cathcart Invitational.
