Thompson, Cooper, Baxter and Jarrett Earn All-East Region Honors

WASHINGTON, DC- Dayna Thompson, Kayla Cooper, Janel Baxter and Ayesha Jarrett all earned East-Region honors as was announced by the U.S Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Thompson made the list for three different events, the 100m, 200m and 4x100m. Her fastest 100m time of the season was 12.05s which she ran at the Norfolk state University Invitational. She ran her fastest 200m at the ECC Championships, crossing the finish line in 24.89s. 

Cooper made the list for the 100m, and her fastest time of the season also came at the NSU Invitational where she ran 12.07s.

Baxter and Jarrett along with Cooper and Thompson earned All-Region honors for the 4x100m, with their fastest time clocking in at 47.37s, which was also ran at the NSU Invitational.
