UDC Women's Track and Field Compete at the Morgan State Legacy Meet
BALTIMORE, MD- The University of the District of Columbia's women's track and field team competed at the Morgan State Legacy meet.
Chacoia Wilkes opened up on the track fir the Firebirds running a season best time of 1:09.56, in the 400 hurdles.
The quartet of Janel Baxter, Kayla Cooper, Ayesha Jarrett and Dayna Thompson placed 5th in the 4x100m with a time of 47.76s.
Both Thompson and Cooper qualified for the finals of the 100m, with Thompson finishing 7th overall, matching her season best of 12.05s.. Cooper finished 10th clocking in at 12.27s.
Cooper ran 25.22s in the 200m to place overall. Jarrett and Baxter clocked in at 25.7s and 26.12s, both of which are personal season bests.
Next up, UDC heads to Pernnsylvania on Thursday tp compete in the Penn Relays.
