Firebirds Compete in Historic Penn Relays

PENNSYLVANIA, PA- The University of the District of Columbia's women's outdoor track and field team competed in the Penn Relays, for the first time since 2019.

The Firebirds competed in the 4x100m relay and the Sprint Medley Relay. The team of Iyanna Jackson, Ayesha Jarrett, Christine Taylor, and Shanise Rose ran a time of 49.54s in the 4x100m. The team of Jackson, Rose, Jarrett, and Kamille Dixon then went on to run a time of 4:13.03 in the SMR.

Next Up, UDC is headed to N.Y. to compete in the ECC Outdoor Championships, on Sunday the 8th.
