Firebirds fight to the finish to win their heat at the PENN Relays.

Philadelphia, PA- The University of the District of Columbia women's Track and Field team had a strong showing at the annual Penn Relays meet on Thursday and Friday at the Franklin Field. 

Thursday

The Quartet of Tishana Dorn, Cierra Roberts, Aisha Dozier, and Shannell Hibbert ran the 4x400m relay with a season-best time of4:00.33 to win their heat and earn them a plaque. 

Friday 

The Quartet of Shaneika Bowra, Shanise Rose, Roberts and Hibbert ran the 4x200m relay with a time of 1:41.76. This time placed them 18th overall out of a field of 41.
