Simone Grant Earns ECC Women’s Track Athlete of the Week

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY – Junior Simone Grant earned East Coast Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week for her performance Saturday at the Maryland Terrapin Invitational.

Grant (Health Education – Bronx, NY/Pelham Prep Academy) finished 1st in her heat and 2nd overall with a time of 26.51s in the 200M, earning UDC eight points at the very competitive Maryland Terrapin Invitational.

The Firebirds will compete again this Saturday at the Colonial Relays in Williamsburg, VA.
