UDC 4x400M Relay Team Announced a 2014 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championship Participant
INDIANAPOLIS – The 4x400M Relay team of Kaydian Jones, Jerily Benjamin, Marlena Wright and Simone Grant will represent the University of the District of Columbia at the 2014 NCAA Division II Women's Track & Field Championships on May 22nd-24th at the Grand Valley Track & Field Stadium in Allendale, Michigan.
This group earned an invitation as the No. 12 4x400M relay team in the nation with a season-best time of 3:44.99 set at this year's Penn Relays on April 24th. The same group earned All-American status as they finished 6th in Division II with a time of 3:49.40 at the Indoor Track & Field Championships this past March. The team also earned All-Region honors yesterday.
